Millersburg, OH Millersburg, OH Full-time Full-time From $15 an hour From $15 an hour 22 hours ago 22 hours ago 22 hours ago An opening currently exists for a full-time (36 hours a week) Patient Access Representative in the Admitting Department to help patients and their families as they visit our hospital for their various needs.
The daily work hours for this position are day shifts during the week and will be scheduled by the supervisor to meet the needs of the department.
The shifts are 12-hours a day - which means you will only work three days a week.
Weekend shifts are worked on a rotation between all team members in the Admitting Department.
Responsibilities include managing the switchboard, paging physicians, completing patient registration, collecting insurance and greeting visitors and patients.
The successful candidate must have excellent customer service and communication skills and the ability to multi-task in a sometimes fast paced environment.
