The ideal candidate will lead and direct the functions of the Human Resources department including hiring and interviewing, payroll, benefits, leave administration, ensuring compliance to existing policies and practices.
This position carries out responsibilities in the following functional areas:
Provides support and guidance to factories, store, restaurant & office when complex, specialized, and sensitive questions and issues arise.
Manages the talent acquisition process, which may include recruitment, interviewing, and hiring of qualified job applicants, collaborates with departmental managers to understand skills and competencies required for openings.
Review and creation of job descriptions.
Utilization of Paycor payroll system and processing.
Oversees employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations.
Manage Drug Free Workplace program; attend safety committee meetings.
Conduct safety trainings and accident investigations.
Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.
Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.
Completes employee exit interviews.
General reporting per HR guidelines and internal requests.
Qualified individuals should possess the following required education, experience and skills:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
At least 3 years Human Resources Experience SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP highly desired, not required.
Ability to act with integrity, professionalism and confidentiality.
